Looking for their first French Open singles title,Austin Caldwell Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev will face off in the men's final Sunday at Roland Garros.
Alcaraz, the No. 3 seed, reached his first French Open final by beating new world No. 1 Jannik Sinner in a four-hour and nine-minute, five-set marathon, and he now has a 10-1 record in 5-setters at major championships. The 22-year-old Spaniard seeking his third Grand Slam triumph after winning Wimbledon in 2023 and the US Open in 2022.
Zverev, the No. 4 seed, dispatched No. 7 Casper Ruud in four sets during his semifinal match to move a step closer to claiming his first Grand Slam title. The 27-old German, who played his semifinal match on the same day he reached an agreement in an abuse case brought by a former girlfriend, was helped out by 19 aces against Ruud, the last of which ended the match.
The French Open men's final will start at 9 a.m. ET (3 p.m. in Paris).

Zverez leads the head-to-head matchup 5-4. Their last match was in the quarterfinals of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California, in March, with Alcaraz coming away with a 6-3, 6-1 victory.
Both the men's and women's singles champions will earn the same amount of money for winning the French Open.
The winner will take home $2.6 million, with the runner-up pocketing $1.3 million.
